I mean...how much is a person supposed to deal with? Time to learn to build an igloo or something. I have on three layers and am wrapped in a down comforter and am sitting next to a heater...doing powerpoint slides. Will be happy when Wednesday evening rolls around and I can just stay in bed under three comforters. lol.

Julie, bei uns ist es genau so kalt, aber ich kann Dir sehr warme Zimmer, ein warmes Bett mit Wärmflasche, Glühwein und Feuer im Kamin bieten. Ich hofe, das wärmt Dich ein wenig auf.
hahah. :-) Das hilft schon ein bisschen. Feuer im Kamin klingt besonders gut.
Are you from the west coast, then? This would be nothing for someone from the east...
I went back to Seattle two weeks ago and I felt like I was on a tropical island or something. Brrr!!

I grew up in Michigan but then after university moved out to the Bay Area. And fell head over heels in love with it. (Musta been from that kind of climate in a past life...) So I adopted the Bay Area as my homeland (my whole family moved out there too - but that is another story). So...yeah, I know these winters pretty well, but that doesn't mean I accept them!!! Have been trying to convince the husband to move back to the Bay Area for a couple years now...to no avail.
