Schwabenland

It's hard not to want to pull out the phone-camera every few minutes as we walk around Schiltach from the hotel to the client or to dinner, etc. So quaint and picturesque. The patterns on the old German houses here are so beautifully geometric and colorful. The windows with their different coloured shutters and trim are especially gorgeous. It's a holiday here today, but we have a ton to do, so a couple of us are sitting in the client offices today for a few hours working. Somehow, it's not so bad really. You look out the window at the landscape and really feel the serene beauty. It'll be a short work day and then we will have some time to enjoy the surroundings for a few hours. I thought I might head to France (Strasbourg or Colmar) today, but not sure yet. Need to get some work done first.

Dinner last night - not bad - some sort of beef fillet with a Calvados walnut sauce. Would have preferred something lighter, perhaps tonight.
